Customer Reviews about Carla Fuller Family Law:

  • Ms. Fuller, like most attorneys representing at-risk youth as well as many DHS Investigators, are misrepresented, like by the mother listed below. Most people view this terribly taxing job as one where people think Ms. Fuller and those from DHS are "out to get them" or take their children away. This is absurd. I have worked firsthand both as a caseworker and at DHS and I can tell you that taking a child away from the home is the LAST resort anyone in these positions wants to do. Working directly in White County as a caseworker, I can safely say that most of the parents blame everyone but themselves and always try to play the victim. This is obviously a way to escape responsibility for why their child is even in court in the first place. And the FINS (Families in Need of Services) petitions that the parents sign up for, which are the cases Ms. Fuller takes, are completely voluntary. And most of the time, it is worse than pulling teeth trying to get parents to comply with court orders. Most of the time, when the court and Ms. Fuller are out of options, long-term placement or temporary stays in child custody are recommended if the threat at home is felt to be great on the child and that the only way to help the child is to get him/her out of the home, if just for a little while. This is a LAST resort. But sometimes it is needed. I know for a fact that Ms. Fuller has never tried to intentionally hurt a family by separating them unless it was in the childs best interest (and remember, the child is already in front of the judge for a reason). Ms. Fuller has a law degree and certainly doesn't make a killing as a Juvenile Public Defender. She has a passion (which is a "must" in this type of work) of service in aiding youth and trying to give them the best chances available. She does an amazing job and truly cares about the families and children she represents.

I showed up to This Woman's office to do a step-parent adoption she was the most rude person I have ever met when I tried to explain to her where my ex lived she looked at me and called me a liar and says she will not trust anything I say. My husband who was a very passive ass kisser was also insulted by her when he tried to ask her professional opinion. she told us pay her $3,500 and we will lose in court and will be just a big waste of her time. She will not take our case because it'll take too many Hoops for her to jump through to find my ex. she was just disgusting of a woman. Never met this woman before today do not suggest anyone ever used this woman in any respects. the meeting we had was less than 5 minutes long and 90% of the meeting was her belittling us and calling us Liars. It is not my fault that my ex does not have a proper address she did not have to call me a liar when I said I know about where he's located I know his mother's address and I can help her in any way possible. Run run run run run far away from this woman.

Worst Attorney! Carla Fuller was suppose to represent my son in court, not only did she try to put him in foster care but refused to return my families phone calls who wanted to take care of him till we could get everything settled in court. She is more out in separating a child from their family and placing them with strangers then keeping the family together. She said I was emotionally unstable, I think any mother would agree that if you have an abuser raising your son and all you want is to take him out of the situation your emotions are high. I am a very stable person with a stable home. I would NOT recommend her!
